Why I Hate Holidays!!And You’ll See Why!!

     I don’t really get into any holidays to be honest with you and I especially don’t like Christmas. I know that’s a shocker to most, but when I look at it, it doesn’t make much since to me. I’m not a person that just does things because that’s what they say to do. Can someone please tell me who is “THEY”. How many times have you asked someone where they get something from and they say “You know that’s what they say”? Well I don’t listen to them or anyone else that wants me to conform to something that doesn’t make since to me, or can cause harm to myself or others knowingly! I don’t care if my momma said it, if it’s wrong it’s wrong!

     I’ve watched family members year after year run up credit cards and borrow money that they don’t have to get gifts for kids and people that aren’t going to appreciate them. After a week or two the kids have thrown the toys in the closest and are only playing the video games and the adults have either given or thrown their present away. The next day the people who bought the gifts are worrying about how they are going to pay their own bills? Now they are stressed out for months over one day.

     Then you have the other idiots who rob and kill people around this time to get money to get people gifts? So let me get this straight Christmas is suppose to be to celebrate the birth of Christ right? So why is it in 99% of families he’s nowhere to be found on this day or any day? Many don’t even think to wake up and just tell him Happy B Day, and other’s can’t even say Merry Christmas, its season’s greetings or happy holidays because we don’t want to offend others HUH??

     I said all of that to say if you are in a position to give then or today on Valentine’s Day do so if you want but don’t let others pressure you into doing things that will put you in a bind. If they truly love you they would understand and rather you do things all year long to show them that you love them. That significant person should be able to look at today and say I appreciate it but it’s no different than many of the other days I’ve had. They may even say don’t get me anything you do so much anyway this is for the people who never do anything.

     I’ve seen a lot of people say love yourself which is great but, I disagree with Whitney Houston who says learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all! It’s more to life than loving yourself you have got to learn to love someone else. Mathew 23: 37-40 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

     So I say try to treat people the way you want to be treated all year long. Buy materials and study in all the realms to be the best person or mate you can be to bring the most pleasure to someone else. Only loving yourself is selfishness! Also if you’re a scumbag male or female and you know you are dating someone who is a great person do you and them a favor and get with other scumbags. Leave them alone because no matter how slick you are it will all eventually come out and you will hurt them and they will be affected for no good reason. You!!

     On the other side because scumbags will be scumbags if you are a good person and you feel something is not right no matter how perfect they seem follow your gut because it’s not right they are just amongst the best at being manipulative. Don’t listen to others, run because they can’t see it either but you are the one involved and your feelings in matters like these don’t lie! Take it from me I paid for an am still paying dearly for not listening to myself in more than one realm!!!!!

Many times it’s not the punch you see that knocks you out it’s the one you don’t see and couldn’t brace for but boy did you feel it!!
