“The Biggest Douche Bag on Earth”!

I told you guys last week that I was scheduled to have a boxing match on the 11th which was Monday. I found out from my coach that he had the date wrong. The actual date is the 16th which is today. I was immediately in a bad place because I had to tell them I couldn’t do it because I had given my word to a friend. I had already committed to cornering him in a MMA Fight that same day.

I’m a person that tries to keep my word at all costs. When I die I would like for people to be able to say at my funeral that I was a man of my word, and not have to lie!! I had to call him as soon as I found out I had to take an emergency trip to Mexico. I had to tell him that I probably wouldn’t be able to make it for his fight. I was the only person he had to corner him. He understood and also asked if I needed him to pull from the fight and go with me to Mexico! Of course I told him no and that he should focus on his fight. I’m so glad J.C “Concrete” Cuffee was able to fill in for me to corner him. I’m glad Mike understood. If not I would’ve had to label him “The Biggest Douche Bag on Earth”!

Prior to a few weeks ago, I hadn’t seen or trained with him in almost 5 years and hadn’t talked to him in about two years. He contacted me on facebook . To make a long story short he came up for 3 weeks to train. He realized that he would get more training just taking classes at Team Lloyd Irvin, than he would’ve doing a fight camp back home. While he was at my home one night he started talking saying it was a life changing experience being around me back in the day. I immediately stopped him, pulled out my flip camera and said let me ask you this on camera sounds like this might be interesting. Wow! Who does that right!!lol Does anyone else carry around a flip camera and voice recorder in their pocket everyday besides me? Lol.

I posted the video of what he had to say below check it out. Mike Perez fights a former UFC Champion this weekend in Monroe, La. No one expects him to win. Saying he is the underdog would be an understatement! People can say what they want, but when Mike fights at the actual show he lays it all on the line. Something is definitely wrong with him. He use to be a bull rider and fights without three fingers on one hand (SERIOUSLY) . Look for his fingers on the video. Lol Anyway Mike I wish you the best and hope you pull off an upset! Today Is also Mike’s Birthday HAPPY B-DAY BRO! J.C I really thank you for filling in for me!!
